Pacman Jones is Still Stupid
Adam “Pacman” Jones is a pretty stupid person. After all, you have to be pretty stupid to bring 80G’s in cash (in a garbage bag) to a strip club. You have to be pretty stupid to shower strippers with this obscene amount of cash (known as “making it rain”). And you have to be pretty stupid to try to recollect that cash after the precipitation has ended. The above incident led to a strip club shootout in which a security guard was left paralyzed. But that was so last year. It’s a new year and Pacman Jones has new crimes to commit. The Tennessee Titans cornerback is now accused of punching a female in the face. The incident took place at (can you guess?) a strip club called Body Tap Strip Club. The incident arose when Jones accused the club manager’s of stealing his money and bracelet. Perhaps Jones cannot distinguish between voluntarily giving away money to stripper’s and having money physically taken from him. Nonetheless, Wanda S. Jackson, an attorney, was sitting in the Atlanta strip club’s office as Jones came in to confront the manager’s. As Jackson explains, “I was sitting in the office and he lunged at me numerous times in an effort to do grave bodily harm. Veronica Jones, an owner, went into the hall to deal with a member of his entourage. I followed to gawk. He was in the hall, surprisingly reached over or around a security guard and sucker punched me in my left eye.” The incident occurred on January 3rd of this year, so Pacman has gotten off to a quick start in 2008 thus far. Jones, suspended for the entire 2007 NFL season due to previous conduct violations, has been arrested a total of 6 times since mid 2005. If this guy is ever allowed to play professional football again, it will be an absolute travesty.
